CIP - community involvement programme

We had to do CIP again because we lack the 6 hours needed. eh, where's the lacking part? The last time I did it, I did it with all my might. -_-

I was with Fazlyn this time. Guess what? Long story cut short, we both got drenched and our attitudes started to sour. Thanks to the man(he's a foreigner - see they are actually much nicer than the typical group of singaporeans who don't give a damn) who gave us the umbrella, Thanks to the people that donated on their own without us asking.

I didn't blog to say my thanks and end it there. I HAVE TO BLOG ABOUT SOME OF THE ENCOUNTERS WE HAD!

We were in Boon Lay Shopping Centre, and Fazlyn decided to start asking for collection there. She did, she first asked this lady that was walking in front.

Picture this! A lady(aged around her 30s to 40s) and she's probably looking down as she walk. A girl comes up to you - she's in uniform mind you - and gently asks you, "Do you want to donate?"

AND GUESS WHAT THE LADY DID? She got startled and she turned around to go to the other side, making that 'tsk' sound and glaring at us as she leaves.

I MEAN, WHAT THE HELL DID FAZLYN DO? All she did was say that question in a gentle tone, and that gave her the scare of her life? It almost seems that we were playing a scary prank at her.

SERIOUSLY.

PEOPLE! WAKE UP! We are ASKING for your donation and not demanding them from you. If you don't want to, just say a simple 'no'. There's no need to look another way, turn around and go another way, or simply stare at us.

The number of nice people in singapore is slowly limiting itself. Not that I'm saying that the people that don't donate isn't nice.

It's infuriating to have to stand there and continuously ask for donation though they ignore you. Have a little bit of empathy and simply say no or shake your head if you don't want to. WHAT DID YOU THINK WE'D DO? Smack you and take your purse/wallet and put all your coins in the tin? I'd like to do that though, teach you all a lesson.

Fazlyn was saying that if you were in a crowded area, just hold the tin out and everyone will move out and give you the space you want. Anything they'd do just so they don't need to donate.

FREAKS.

I know, just because I donate doesn't mean others should, but all I'm hoping for is people to be at least a little polite and decline instead of glaring at us for asking in a nice tone.

forever

This just got in my head, and I haven't blogged for like what? ... 2 days? so I'm just randomly blogging this here. Keep my blog fresh eh?

I hear the word forever being used all the time. Okay, maybe not all the time but at least most of the time. It's used so casually as if it actually means nothing. Well, to me at least.

Like, for relationships (couple, of course),
The guy would say, he'd love the girl forever. Or maybe it's the girl in another case, I shouldn't be sexist you know.
Anyway back to my example,.... and you know what would happen next? The couple goes seperate ways. Typical for a group of couples, I can't say all because there are that last super long, and there are that last literally forever.

I'm not targetting couple relationships only. Friends also tend to do the same, don't they?

Fancy telling each other, let's be BFF(best friend forever) and then what happen after they get promoted to different schools or better yet, just different classes? The next day, everything's still the same, but as time pass by, everything changes and guess what? You're no long BF(best friend), let alone F(forever).

I'm not actually doing this blog because this happened to me, though it has, but it's not like I give much hoot about it now than I did before. I've managed to adapt this way of pretending to move on, though I do think about it from time to time.

OH CRAP! I should have gone to bathe already! It's past 9pm! IMAGINE THAT?! I'm suppose to be helping myself rid of my insomniac habit and what do I do? Forget about my goal in life (ridding of that insomniac habit of mine, first) and gone and blog about irrelevant things in MY life. Sheesh, it's so typical of me to rant on nothingness.

I'm home today!

Like Yippee! Right? NO! No yippee!

There's still school tomorrow and worse, it's FNN - food and nutrition - the subject I simply "adore". You see, I've done my execution already, and my god it was well done. In my own opinion.

Tomorrow what I'll have to do for FNN would be the evaluation. What's the difference you may ask? Well, you dingbat, it's the difference of the spelling and that execution means executing it(process) and evaluation means evaluating the executed process. GET IT NOW? You non-FNN dingbats people.... make my life so "peaceful". Why do I have to suffer it and you don't? Terribly unfair, I must say.

Anyway, the reason I'm home today is because the teacher's in my school have to attend some dumbass shitty long course to benefit them and enhance their teaching capabilities! That's good news for us nerds isn't it? *mimics star trek joyous actions*

The other reason why I'm home today is I didn't get picked to go for that Singapore Polytechnic Course thing, the thing that made me disappointed before but not anymore because I think I'll pick staying at home to slack over going there and be tired for the whole day anytime. Yes, I'm a slacker shit bombom. :D

Actually there's another reason why I'm home.....today......it's because I chose to stay at home over accompanying my family to some place I don't really care about right now. I'm extremely reluctant to step out of the house. However, today I might have to, but its timing is near evening.

(inserts slacker's lazy grunts here)

I confess I'm an extremely lazy girl and that I'm never, even in the future, ever going to be associated with the terms: neat freak, lady-like, graceful.... and probably many more.
